10 WAYS TO STAY MOTIVATED IN ANYTHING YOU DO

Hey lovelies!!! Welcome to a new year with Roselomon Blog. It is that time of the year when we reflect on the previous year and make new resolutions for the New Year. I am sure we all have our vision boards or to-do lists is filled with so many aspirations and wishes that we hope to come through.

You might have just stepped into an important phase in your life which could be your first job, student life or a life changing task and you are so excited about but a question keeps flooding your mind "will I remain motivated till the end?"

It is often said that it is not the beginning of a task that is worth discussing about but the end. In our digitalized world, where distraction knows no boundary, sustaining a stable level of motivation in anything we do is very imperative. Here are 10 ways to stay motivated in anything you do.

Commit your Plans to God: As mortal beings, we cannot achieve all we need on our own. The good news is that we do not have to fret about how to stay motivated and achieve all we desire when we have a God who is willing to assist us. Psalm 35:11 says "Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Take advantage of this limitless opportunity and get the key to stay motivated.

Have a Support System: The importance of having a shoulder to rely on cannot be over emphasized. Sometimes the task we do make suddenly become daunting that giving up or taking a time off may present as the best option. Having friends, confidants and motivators can rekindle the passion in you and get you back on track.

Reflect on the Outcome: The financial benefits that comes from your employment or the prestige and certificate to show that you graduated from your university should be a motivating factor to you. By consciously and consistently reflecting on the end result of what you are embarking on, you develop inner strength that will help keep your motivation high.

Draw a plan: By having a mental picture of what you are working on or seeing the blueprint plan lying against your wall will not only give you an insight of what stage you are in and have left but also keep you motivated and prepared for the next stage.

Set a short time frame: If you are working on a project that is planned to take place over a long period of time, dividing the time into smaller time frames can reduce the impact on you. For instance, if you are to graduate in three years’ time, you can choose to say in 3 summer holidays I will be a graduate. You can also use any of your favourite season of the year that you look forward to having as the time interval, this way you can enjoy the period as the time goes by while you remain motivated.

Evaluate yourself regularly: There are so time when we are not doing our best or even maximizing our abilities to get the optimum result we desire that we have no clue about. Constant evaluation of ourselves helps point out our flaws and open new doors to change. Knowing how good our performances has been is also a motivating factor and this can be achieved through evaluation.
Reflect on the things that keep you motivated: Motivational stories, speeches and writings are amongst a few strategies that can keep you motivated when you are losing your grip. Some people get an instant motivation by just reflecting on how far they have come. Think of what works for you and use it to the fullest.
Build your Self-control: It has been researched that people who have the ability to use their self-control trait are more successful at what they do. Consciously act on what needs to be done at a particular time and not what others are doing or anything enticing. This will keep you focused and well-motivated
Believe in yourself: The best thing that you can do to yourself is to believe in your abilities. The benefits of this are numerous. Learn to resist self-doubt and imbibe self-love in your routine. This will not only build your confidence and keep you motivated but it will determine how other will treat and relate with you.

Celebrate your Success: Give yourself a treat, pat your back and congratulate yourself for every success you achieve. Learn from your mistakes and turn it to a success at the slightest opportunity you have. This is a trusted strategy to remaining strong and motivated to achieve your next goal.

Until I come your way soon, remain graciously fabulous!!!

Thoughts about that kitchen waste..STOP THE PROCRASTINATION!!!

THOUGHTS ABOUT THAT KITCHEN WASTE:PROCRASTINATING THAT SOLUTION Hey lovelies!!! It is my first blog and I am so happy to welcome you all to join me in this fabulous journey. I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts and health tips so let's get started. I got inspired by a discussion I had recently about a huge challenge that is hindering us from achieving our schedules and desired goals and I decided to remind us about it and offer a little tip on how to deal with it. Let's start with overcoming the problem of procrastination. Many of us can identify with the problem of procrastination,- those times when you feel something needs to be done but then you postpone it for a more convenient time, until it becomes a nuisance and then you're forced to deal with it but more urgently than you would want to.  We often pay little or no attention to this problem in disguise. I have a good example of this from a very special room in our home which is our kitchen . We may feel l

SHOULD CHRISTIAN WOMEN MAKEUP? TRUE BEAUTY FOR A WOMAN

I've been asked countless times about my stance about women, makeup and beauty. Fortunately, I read from an article online that wrote intelligently about exactly what I believe in and I would love to share it with you all. We live in a society that places a high degree of importance on physical appearance. We see men and women (more women) running to plastic surgeons, having many different kinds of procedures done simply to enhance their appearance. Our society is obsessed with physical beauty, and many women are caught up in that obsession as well. But should beauty really be that important for a woman? Is beauty something that a Christian woman should strive for? What makes a woman truly beautiful? A woman can and should be beautiful—God designed her to be that way. Her skin, hair and other features were created to be soft and appealing, and her body was fashioned to be attractive and beautiful to men. A woman was designed to be attractive, and most women want to be
