MY BIRTH STORY IN FINLAND

The journey into the joys of motherhood started on my 40 th  week of pregnancy at 19:00 on a Tuesday (22 nd  of November 2017) with a visceral nudge.  The unusual lower abdominal and pelvic pain heralded the imminent arrival of our little cutie. I immediately tapped my husband that was lying just at the other side of the bed to inform him. The first stage of labour progressed in its unique way. The contraction quickly advanced from every ten minutes to five. For those periods I was totally restless and in severe pain. No position was comfortable; I couldn't lie or sit. With the intense pain, my trip to toilet became regular because I was vomiting and stooling. My husband and I decided to go to the hospital after we called the birth ward and informed them of our situation. The most beautiful part of the end of the year was the resolutions I made for the year 2017. I wrote down my goals with so much excitement and faith. I also committed it to God because I knew I would not be able to achieve my visions without God's grace.  As they say, "time flies". Time indeed flew and was accompanied with a lot of changes. The changes were undoubtedly great lessons acquired. Below are some of the lessons learnt from 2017 vision board: Write them down: Writing down my vision was one of the best gifts and perfect decision made because I was able to evaluate the year by checking an empty box I left by the side of every vision I intended to achieve at the end of the year. It was a good lesson that I will always stick to. Have a specific and realistic goal: I had written on my vision board that "I have to be more Spiritua
