A DAY ON THE LIFE OF A HOME CARE NURSE

Since I made the decision to change my nursing specialty and become a home care nurse (a nurse that goes to clients' homes to take care of them) in Finland, I've had the sense of fulfilment that is beyond words. Nursing is really rewarding but home care nursing has made it even more satisfying and rewarding. I look forward to a new day when I can give my best to my client. Talking about giving my best, you need to see the smiles on my clients' faces when I went to their houses and said "good morning and Merry Christmas to you" Yes, you read that right! I was working on the 25th of December 😊 what better way is it to show that you really care about people if you don't give them your time? Not to worry though, I also spent the rest of the day with my family. I had fun filming a day in the life of a home care nurse. In the video, I talked about the pros and cons of being a home health nurse.  Click on the video below to watch and don't forget to l

MERRY CHRISTMAS IN FINNISH|| CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION IN FINLAND

This is my third Christmas in Finland and I reckon it's the best I've had because I've had the opportunity to experience some Finnish Christmas traditions. I've had the typical Finnish drink (glΓΆgi) taken only during this festive season and yes, I've had some Christmas foods and snacks. What is more exciting is that you're not lefts out. My Finnish friend stopped by my house during her trip to Spain and I seized the opportunity to film a video about Finnish traditions during Christmas Click on the video below to watch and don't forget to leave your comment as I'd be happy to hear from you.πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ Check my YouTube channel for more videos  HERE
